Hawks of the Night
Long night and nowhere to
go and nothing to do…
No traffic… no people…
He sees a bright light in
the distance, he walks to it.
The light is in the
middle of darkness
The light is a diner
The diner has three people
in it, he walks in
Three people stare into
space, breathing but staring
Not a blink, they just
stare
A life less night
Nothing more
It does look like a lifeless scene...unless the people work up the courage to speak to one another. Then, who knows?
