7 line poem

Drops of dew on the grass
Do not affect the animal’s peaceful habitat
Like the grass of Irving Heights, the grass is a shade of olive khaki
There’s other shades as well in the grass such as
The foggy green of wellington Heights
The animal wonders around in its elegant courtyard.
The sun shines down in rays through the rainforest canopy.

  1. I can see this green scene you have described--I like the first two lines especially.

  2. You did an awesome job on this poem! I could definitely tell that this story was green- I felt like I was surrounded by it and almost could breathe the color if that’s a thing! The imagery was prevalent throughout the story and I could feel like I was with the author exploring the lush new territory. You have an awesome ability with words. Great work on this poem, Jacob!
